Sabbat ending... well that was kinda dumb

So I used the auto generate to make my character and ended up Malkavian (yes, I'm that messed up). Played along with La Croix until I betrayed basically everyone and sided with the Sabbat. Played with now humanity, 2 most of the game, 3 in the end, got one point from a dialogue line with Beckett.

And then the guy just tells me how insignificant I am, they dump the Sacrophagous in the sea, and the creadits start with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Swamped by Lacuna Coil (just saw them on Friday, what a coincidence).

What the f*ck was that all about? Did I win? Did I doom the world?

One of the big missions of the Sabbat is to stop the return of the Antediluvians because they're supposed to be the beginning of the end as they'll devour all vampires and humans. So yes, you sort of won because the Sabbat believed there was a sleeping Antediluvian in there and now no one will find him/her

If you want a proper sabat story that does justice to the sect i recommend playing the latest version of the clan quest mod. It's really really well done. The Sabat ending was never intended by the devs of the game , it was shoe horned in with the plus version of the unofficial patch.

A 'good' ending is the one where you side with yourself. The Camerilla one you live. I've never sided with the anarchs because I'm too lazy to run back and forth across town the whole game lol. The worst (for your character) is siding with the Kuei-jin. They dump it in the sea with you chained to it where I guess you spend eternity

I'm stuck on that mission.
I just spoke to the Tzimice at the hotel, and then struck a deal - then spoke to ming and told her I wasn't sure about trusting her. Then I went back to LaCroix to lie about slaying the sabbat - but there's no dialogue, just Sebastian the ♥♥♥♥♥ going "go slay them all".

You don't have any special dialogue with LaCroix if you joined the Sabbat in the Hallowbrook Atrium. Just continue to do what he tells you and it will all work out in the end ;)!
