Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Snuff is Enuff (Hotel Room #2)
I just got off the payphone which directed me to Room #2 at the Lucky Star Hotel. Its a locked room i can't break into. I need a keycard and I don't know how to locate it. Does anyone recall where the keycard is?

I watched one video of a playthrough and they already seemed to have the key before talking to the Sin Bin guy. I know I'm supposed to go into the Employees Only area of Ground 0 afterward and access the locked door inside but I don't have the card for that either.

are you sure your at room 2? i always get turned around and they arent well marked. at any rate, there is no key. the dialogue should have unlocked the door.

enter the below into console. that should have ran when the phone guy told you to head to the lucky star.

G.Lucky_Blood = 1

if you could post the version of the unofficial patch your using that might help too.

If you are at the right room and you can't get in, then I would advise you to use the "noclip" console command, because it lets you move through walls/doors/everything.

If you don't know how to access the console:

I had to noclip to get around this bug, it seems to be present in nearly everyone's games now.

I just tested this on my system and it works fine with the latest UP 10.5...

It worked fine for me in all my recent and prior playthroughs (UP).

The only time it happened to me was the first time I played it (Vanilla).

It's probably not a widespread problem, but it's good that there's an easy workaround.
