Weird request - Sound Files Location | Ringtones!

When I was younger I used to mess around the VTMB folders and copy some songs and sound files.

I used to take some voice lines to use it as a ringtone, or copy certain sound effects and lines to use in videos. Stuff like that.

However I never found the quest log update sound effect. I think It would be lovely to have as a notification sound hahaha.

Sorry for the silly thread but can someone indicate me where might I find that file or anything of the sort.

Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\Unofficial_Patch\sound\interface\infobar

Though I don't see the files that I think you want here , this is where I believe they would be if you extracted the game archives.

In my file repository, in (vampire) sound\interface\infobar, there are files named:

quest_complete.wav
quest_log_updated.wav

These are probably what you are looking for.

If you have the unofficial patch location files, look for the file "botch.wav", that might work.

Sounds with 0 second duration are placeholder files for sounds that were not recorded. If you are looking for sounds that are not in the folder, these are still in the vpk archives.
