Many vampires in this game, as well as this Sabbat ghoul, have something called "True Sight", which will see through your Obfuscate. Just imagine they use Auspex...
So, there is just a ghoul sent after you? I guess they were trying to be polite and offer a snack. Still, how does a ghoul get true sight? I thought ghouls could only learn the physical disciplines unless they are also some other half supernatural like sorcerers or wolf blooded or whatever it is called. Well, I guess it could be a power of true faith or a magic item or effect/discipline cast on/through them, but that is a lot of effort for such a weak punk... then again sabbat being stupid *shrugs*
Wesp5, something that still confuses me though, after you kill the Lasombre why does one of the tzimiscze ghouls show up just as you are leaving? Yes, it ups the difficulty of not being noticed but it is rather random especially as it is just one when Andre seems to make them in huge batches, preferring quantity to quality, at least with the time he has available.
I always interpreted that as the game telling you Andrei is still alive
Okay that clears things up a lot, thanks
Well, there was so little of the library left in the game when troikia was forced to release vtmb in an incomplete state Wesp5 had to restore a lot of it by talking to the devs and then working from scratch/stealing things from other parts of the game, so I thought he would know the reasoning there.
To be honest the main reason behind this was to give the player a final surprise ;)!
