Playing Gangrel any tips for Frenzy?

First playthrough. I've messed around with the Protean discipline which is fun but I've kind of completely ignored the frenzy mechanic and never came close to triggering it. Is there a Humanity level I should try to sit at? Do any of you try to intentionally trigger Frenzy in a fight and if so how do you go about doing it? Also can your humanity hit 0 and cause you to lose like the Masquerade? or is that not a thing?

Keep in mind if you trigger frenzy with civilians or friendlies around, you may attack them too and killing them will cause Humanity loss. Frenzying in public MIGHT cause Masquerade violations as well I don't recall. As for Humanity 0, yes you lose the game if you drop to 0. If you violate the Masquerade too much, hunters start coming for you. Keep violating it and I believe other vampires eventually come for you. Lose all your violations and you lose the game as well.

Yeah I've decided I'm gonna try to play the rest of the playthrough on low humanity see how it goes. Frenzy only really seems to trigger when I run out of blood which is easy to manage.

yeah i think it's only about blood level. when you really have a little blood you go frenzy even with full humanity i guess.

Yeah I've been playing with for a bit now and I've noticed that on low humanity you frenzy instantly upon running out of blood. At High humanity you have to be out of blood for a while before you go into a frenzy. The risk of going into frenzy and attacking an innocent is pretty low even on low humanity sense blood only goes away if you use it.

So you can kind of pick your moments and if you have decent unarmed (also +5 with frenzy) you can just feed on people mid combat so you won't just go crazy later again after spending all your blood.

You can also go frenzy when got hit a lot in short time.
