Unofficial Patch 10 Install error

I've been trying to install patch 10 for the game and I keep getting this error message when trying to install

The game is installed via steam, no prior patches have been applied or mods
I'm running on Windows 10

It tells you the problem right there. The file is for some reason read only. It shouldn't be because the installer needs to write to it. Locate the file, right click on it, properties and deselect read only option. Then see if that fixes it. That would be my guess...

That worked, but now I'm getting a new error message

Try copying all the files out of the vampire/bin folder into the main vampire folder.
