Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Clan Quest Mod Question
The Clan Quest mod sounds really cool and I want to give it a try. But I noticed it says it comes packaged with a sort of "lite" version of the Camarilla edition.

I really like the CE's idea of thirst, and your blood points going down without feeding. But I really hate the idea of your health bar deteriorating as your blood points do. And I hate that feeding doesn't heal you even more.

I feel like it takes away from the game because I would never want to use disciplines because they lower your health quality (less blood points=weaker health).

So my question is, since it's a lite version, does thirst only effect the blood points or does it effect both blood points and health?

"For more details about this mod's changes, consult the file "Camarilla Edition manual.txt", found in the Documentation folder, in the Clan Quest Mod download package."

Have you read this file (if it's in there)?

I believe that your health bar "slowly" regenerates (edited)

Bloodheal will be a discipline that you invest points into, you can use it after you feed.

Make sure to have a full blood pool before taking an "online college" course, as time will pass.

Carry blood packs.

Edit:

I don't think that file is still accurate because I thought they had found a new method of stopping the loss during dialouge.

Okay, the notes from CE text file appear to be correct, though I'm not sure about bloodloss during dialogue (the UI disappears). But I think that i remember reading that Zeromorph, had found a way to eliminate it (may have been for Final Nights mod).

From Camarilla ED. text:
"The bloodloss system is what sets Camarilla Edition apart from most other
mods, and the concept is very simple. Now in all parts of the game you will
lose blood over the time, which forces you to feed on occasion. Blood is now
used not only to fuel your Vampiric abilities, but it also sustains your undead
body.
With a stamina rating of one, you will lose 1 bloodpoint every 4 minutes.
For every stamina point above one, the interval is prolonged by half a minute.
So with 5 stamina, you have 6 minutes until the next bloodloss occurs. This
loss of blood happens in all instances, even in dialogue, so it’s very
important to keep a few bags of blood in your inventory for those times when
blood is scarce. If your blood drops below 50% your body will start to whither
away, damaging health over time. You can't drop below 1 bloodpoint, so your
character will not die or fall in torpor from bloodloss. But the bloodloss does
not stop and there are other adverse effects.
For example, at 3 bloodpoints or less you will start to make hunger caused
frenzy checks. If your bloodpool should drop to the point where it would be -1,
if that were possible, frenzy will occur every 30 seconds until you get enough
blood to get back to at least 1 bloodpoint.
Bloodloss is started in the first tutorial dialog with Jack.
In CE feeding does not heal your character. You have to rely on the
BLOODHEAL discipline to get your health back faster. So if you are injured,
don't forget to activate bloodheal while feeding..."

I tested a Brujah Male new game (zero points added to Stamina) using CQM 3.1 with the 3.1.2 patch (which includes 3.1.1 patch fixes)

The health bar did not drop until the blood pool dropped from below half, but the regeneration brought the health back to the top within about 30 seconds.

Additional info:

For every humanity level below 6, the frequency of bloodloss increases.

Malkav stated in 2015, that heath drop from bloodloss was "hardcoded":
"Taking damage when the bloodpool drops below a certain level is hardcoded. Or at least nobody has yet found a way to change that."

When the blood level drops from less than 50 percent.

I believe so yes.
When questioned about "feeding not healing", Malkav stated that it wasn't like that in the pen and paper rpg game.
