But I can't argue with your list, everyone has their own preference and it's hard to pick one.
If I had to choose someone other than Jack then I would say it would probably be the Cab Driver. He seems so wise and smart for a mere man who just works the cab, I can see why Jack likes him. And the fact that he might even be Cain is really cool.
Another character worth mentioning is Samantha. While she's not one of my favorites, and she doesn't get that much dialogue in the game as other characters, I think the fact that she may have been in the player's past is an interesting detail.
But of course I like almost every character this game has to offer, even if it is a mere drunkard off the street, or a prostitute, every single character has so much depth to them.

"Real terror is not the sight of death, it is the fear of death. What is the fear of death? Terror of the unknown. Is it these eyes you peer into? No, I am not the unknown; You and I are closer kin than you and it were."

"I am the proprietor and salesman of the month several years in a row; The ladies call me "Oh god!" but you can call me Fat Larry with an F-A-T 'cause there's mo' of me to love."

Edit: Oh, and I like Strauss. Trying yet again to get his ending, missed it on my Tremere. I guess I have to be nice to the Prince even when he's doing something that's irrelevant to the Camarilla... meh.
Yeah, Fat Larry is hilarious, especially if you’re playing a Nosferatu. Even the storekeepers in this game are great characters. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s voiced by Phil LaMarr (Marvin from Pulp Fiction).
That’s just makes her a more compelling character, if you ask me. She’s so manipulative and evil; like LaCroix, only she’s good at it.
Well, don’t take this as gospel, but I don’t think it matter’s how you treat LaCroix; you just have to persuade Strauss to tell you “what [he] really thinks” about LaCroix.

Nothing like having him run to hit the dancefloor in the Asylum.
