What dialog options does seduction open up?

Hello all,

So first off, I've never actually beaten the game before. But I've gotten right up to the end multiple times. Just those final bosses kill me, every time. I'm trying again, with a persuasion heavy character. But I'm restarting, after failing to save Jeanette and Theresa. And it got me thinking, what other interesting choices does seduction open up? And I figured I'd ask here.

Patch+ or basic? If basic you dont need any seduction to save anyone, you need 4 persuasion and correct dialoge answers for both persons. You gotta say what they want to hear, just a tip.
Seduction does not really open big opportunities for quests or unlife in general, just for roleplay.

Seduction mostly gets you Blood dolls in clubs. You can drink from them safely and refill your blood. Other thant hat, VV responds to seduction very well, as well as human NPC's most of the time. It works like persuasion, but there's more uses of persuasion in dialogue with quest NPC's than there's seduction uses. That's why most people opt for persuasion instead. But seduction has the utility of giving you blood dolls so that's how they "balanced" why there's less seduction lines for other NPC's.

What's the highest Seduction requirement for any significant dialog, and what does it pertain to? I think this is more along the lines of what's being asked.

Also, blood dolls are useless when you can find good blood in alleyways.

Blood dolls are fine because sometimes in the allyways you have to wait for people to clear unless you want to break the masquerade. I think the highest seduction requirement is actually for a chinatown blood doll, and that's 8. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, i don't really know the specifics. Anyway, it has it's uses, and convenience.

In my current UP basic playthrough I have a Persuasion of 5 and Seduction of 4. At the end of a chain of persuasions with Boris, I was able to solve Venus' problem peacefully. I don't know the actual requirement however. I've done all of Santa Monica until now and basically just started downtown. I've been keeping spare XP so I can check dialog possibilities; basically, save scumming.

I just can't justify the cost for what you get in return. I'd rather put those points elsewhere. Even as a Ventrue, I never had problems feeding while in a city hub. Like it or not, Ventrue aside, there's always the sewers as well.

I just told you what you get out of Seducition. Wether you want that or not is up to you. You get fewer persuasion like dialogue options, but you get blood dolls too as a convenience. That's probably how the developers balanced it out, so that persuasion still has its uses. And that's why persuasion is better. Blood dolls are fine, but as you said, you can just hunt in the hub, no big deal. Still, it's fun to see some seduction line responses if you've never seen them, and are playing the game for the 100th time.

You can seduce VV with a Seduction of 5 Scene contains no lap dance

The only dialogue and resolution I've seen that is opened up exclusively by seduction is if you are female and not nosferatu during the Romero quest. Instead of getting a prostitute for him you can with enough seduction just take care of his problem yourself.

I also think that the highest seduction requirement is for the blood doll in Chinatown.

In order to flirt with VV : Seduction 5 , special note if you have seduction 6 while meeting her for the first time she will immediately tell you to address her as VV stating that she only allows people she likes to call her that implying that she already has a first impression of your character purely based on their look , i know very shallow of her

If you have seduction 5 you can flirt with Venus and she will address your character as handsome or cutie depending on their gender. You can only flirt with her once during the first introduction

If you seduction of 8 and ask Issac if you can be in one of his movies he will state that you definitely have the look but being dead and all kinda hinders your aspirations of being an undead movie star

If you are a ventrue or toreador female and have a seduction of 5 , gary golden will have some unique dialogue for you when you meet him. When you ask him " what do you want ? " while he is using obfuscate to hide himself he will say something along the lines " I want to throw your pocket mirror in a thresher and watch you fetch it , i want to stick your lovely face in a piranha tank , i want to pour acid glaze over your sculpted body but i am no monster boss are you ? " Note these dialogues only appear for ventrue and toreador females with seduction 5 for females of other clans they do not appear

If you are male character and have a seduction of 3 , during the very first quest for mercurio you can try and flirt with the guard guarding the drug dealer's beach house and he will respond with "ugh just go in"

You can sleep with romero as a female with seduction 5

You can also flirt with Tommy Flayton the food critique in hollywood with a seduction of 5 but only if you are a male character

During the quest Dirty Dishes in the giovanni mansion male characters with seduction of 8 can flirt with Mira Giovanni , she is a tough one to crack but eventually she will cave in and accept your compliment but if you flirt with her as a female she will call you a ♥♥♥♥ lol.

Also while in the mansion if you approach Nadia as a male character with seduction 8 she stumbles over her words during your introduction cause she is infatuated with your looks so much so that if you suggest to her that the two of you should go to a more quieter place she takes you up on that offer and guides you to the morgue where she plans on having sex with you but ofc you just end up biting her and getting access to the catacombs and pisha's book

Overall seduction is very fun

I knew there was more to seduction than just being "weaker persuasion".

Do you happen to know what intimidate gets you?

The options available with intimidation are rather lack luster compared to the other two social aspects in the game. But it's good for role-playing with clans like gangrel and nosferatu

With intimidation of 3 you can blackmail Malcom the doctor in Santa Monica to give 150$ instead of the default 75

With intimidation 3 you can convince cooper the thin blood to give you money without having to bring him the steak and "unicorn blood"

With intimidation of 5 you can threaten Vandal to sell you blood after freeing lilly thereby circumventing the quest replanting a lilly

With intimidation 5 you can bully chunk into giving you the key to the art gallery

With intimidation 4 you can get access to ship controls from the cop on board the Elizabeth Dane

With intimidation 5 you can convince Dima to let you see Boris

You will need intimidation of 6 to convince Boris to back off from Venus

With intimidation 5 you can get David Hatter's screen play and the name of his source

That is all I know of intimidation cause I never went beyond 6

You forgot rich guy in Santa Monica and Tommy Flayton. But Tommy Flayton quest will fail with intimidation option taken. And i dont remember how much you need, 1 for rich guy and 6 for Tommy? Somethere around this numbers.
