The Strain - TV Series

Has anyone watched The Strain? It's fun watching it while playing VTMB and to compare the similarities and differences.

Yes, I've watched the entire series (although the books are better); however, there is no comparison between the world of VtM and the world of The Strain.

The Strain has the most annoying child character in any series ever: Zach Goodweather

No spoilers, but if you don't hate this kid there's something wrong with you.

True. After a while I started to think that the annoying character was created to show how far parental care can go.

If I'm looking for a series to remind me of VTM then I would choose the Blade trilogy.

Yeah. They probably got inspired with their clans and elders. Also the first Underworld movie should fit, they even got legal problems with White Wolf because of the similarities ;)!

Was a decent tv series but had very little, if anything, to do with White Wolf's Vampire the Masquerade. More of a beast vamp vs humanity kinda show. Never did read the books but on my list.

Agreed on Underworld series being closer to the VTM if the legal issues didn't give you that clue (and wesp5). Good movie series.
