Clan Quest missing .dll's
Does Clan-Quest Mod not have a launcher.dll? Everytime I try to launch the game through it's created short-cut it just tells me it failed to load the launcher.dll because the specified module could not be found. Can you only have clan quest and unofficial patch going one at a time? I used to have both installed at the same time a few years ago and it worked fine, but they've both been updated since then... It is creating an empty folder within my Steam VTM:B folder. (CQM followed by two additonal empty folders. one for maps and one for graphs.) it feels like I can't run both of them at the same time anymore, which is a shame but something I'll deal with.

If that is the case could I not just create a duplicate VTM:B, basically install the game twice, and have one for clan quest and one for unofficial patch?.

Edit 1: I'm going to try and run it in Admin. I didn't think to do that because my profile already has Admin rights. Clan-Quest didn't require it or throw me any issues, so.

Edit 2: That didn't work. (Didn't really think it would since it already had Admin rights.) I reinstalled it a 3rd time and routed it to my secondary hard-drive, all the files were present. So, I'm going to just take all those files and put them in VTM:B's directory and hope it works.

Edit 3: The above attempt didn't work. I'm going to assume I'm going to need another plain VTM:B copy and just copy the files there.

Solution!: After installing it for the... 4th time, I paid closer attention to where it was installing it's self to. It was trying to install it self to my SSD not my HDD and the only reason I can gather for why it was picking up the SSD is because I had briefly installed Steam to it but moved it to my HDD for storage reasons. (My SSD is 200 gigs, roughly, and the HDD is 2 terabytes.) I'm assuming the installer was picking up fragmented files left over from then? Either way I'll be running CCleaner on it later tonight.

It may be that "User Account Controls", or whatever the latest Windows "permissions" -ware is blocking the install to the "Program Files" directory .

In the past, people have sometimes tried what you're doing, but installing to desktop.

C.Q.M and U.P. latest version are design to be able to be installed "in parallel".

EDIT:
After you install, and drag the folders over to the other directory, You'll likely have to edit the short-cut "target, or start in:" to find the proper .exe location.

I just figured it out when you posted that. It kept trying to install to my SSD and not my HDD where 90% of my files are currently located at. As to why it kept trying to go to my "Primary" drive, I have no idea. Like I said, I had steam installed on it very briefly, so maybe it was picking up fragmented files left behind? I don't know.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that as well. A lot of games installer directs it to a C drive.
