Abandoned Hospital [Downtown] -- No way out?

I am in the Downtown Abandoned Hospital and just accepted the task from Pisha. I am trying to get back out but the hallways are blocked. I looked up a walkthrough on Youtube and there the hallways have been cleared and exit is possible, but my path in-game is always blocked.

Anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Did you try going through the vent that is in the same room she is in?

Look for the storage shelves. There’s a vent over them.

I have another problem with this mission. After I bash through the wall under the stairwell, I go immediately into cut scene mode on the video monitor in the next room. But instead of seeing a video, the game freezes and I never see the video. I cannot get out of it and cannot proceed with the game. Can anyone help?

No to Antitribu. I just found the threads on a websearch and posted replies. I don't know the boards well, sorry.

I'm using the latest 9.something patch that I found the other day. I can't believe major bugs like this weren't ironed out before.

You are the only one that I can remember reporting this issue ever. Did you continue from an older save after patching or are you using Wine or similar?

No idea what Wine is. I loaded the 9.9 patch, but accidentally found and loaded two others before that. I couldn't uninstall them so I deleted them. Could that be the problem?

I don't know much about patches and have no interest in cheats. I was just trying to fix the bug that got me stuck talking to the bum with no way to continue.

Yes, saved games of different patches are not compatible, you always need to start a new game!

That issue is a random bug, reload an earlier save and talk to him from another direction...
