Protean's moveset

Is it possible to play with Gangrel effectively? The attack moves when Protean is on are very clumsy. Your first hit pushes the enemy out of your second hit's range resulting in you missing a hit.

No, it's terrible. Unarmed is better than the claws (and that's not saying unarmed is any good) - you need max level protean and then you get faster attack speed but it's still terrible, the attack pattern often misses the enemy entirely (bad hitboxes?) and the attack speed is so slow you can and will be interrupted by enemies before you even get your second hit swing combo off, which will miss because of knockback anyway.

It's honestly so bad, i don't know how it hasn't been fixed/changed in all the mods and updates that have come about. Just tried playing updated CQM and you can only get a 1 hit combo off, and because the attack speed is so slow you often get hit before even getting a single hit in.

Sadly, editing model animations, it the one big thing that's impossible in Bloodlines right now...

I think melee combat with gangrel has gotten worse at some point... Im not sure. I think enemies are moving around more than they used to? And its making a lot of gangrel swings miss even if the enemy is right in front of you.

I never changed anything regarding melee combat or general enemy movement...

That's a real shame that even the mighty Wesp cannot fix it :(
