so lore wise how hard are werwolves to kill?
im aware in game baring slaming the door on its head you cant kill them.

But is it like a vampire where normal bullets can stop one if you keep shooting or is silver and magic pretty much needed? i mean its implied nines used a granade shoved into the ones mouth and you can crush the other one so that must mean they arnt immune to normal damage. im just curoius seeing as the new game is based on them how durable they really are.

because going off this game it seams like it would be hard to make a base human a threat given they can tear a vampire apart and eat a few hundred rounds to the face.

Garou (werewolves) are pretty darn tough to kill.

Even their cliath (low rank) have an insane amount of durability when they shift into crinos (the big werewolf form). They also regenerate most wounds and can even "come back from the dead" of sorts.

Silver works, but not just anything silver, density and quality matters. Certain powers and natural weapons of supernatural creatures will harm them well. For example, Protean claws ability would be threatening. A Brujah with potence trying to punch a garou? Much less so.

Bullets, if not silver or of a very specific and deadly type (dragonsbreath style rounds) will more than likely piss them off more than anything (bar maybe a .50 cal). The grenade trick would do it, but it definitely needs to be shoved into the mouth, otherwise it would b threatening but not really dangerous.

Typically a single low rank garou is normally more threatening and durable enough to take on a kindred coterie of high generations.

Garou were crafted to fight creatures that have the literal power to warp reality (one such power is to make your bone's turn into literal jell-o), as the warriors of Gaia (partly by delegation, partly by being genocidal maniacs) they are built tough, fast and dangerous.

In their crinos form they have rough equivalents to potence/celerity/fortitude all active at once without needing to expend much effort to have it.

Still not nearly as tough as a Rokea (were-shark) though...

Curious to see which direction they go with the game, regardless I hope they focus on a pack mechanic as garou are very social creatures and are found more often in a pack than alone (outside of Ronin, monkey wrenching ops or other few specifics).

An Elder Gangrel might stand a chance. A Tzimisce that's mastered his Zulo can too as they can stand tow to toe with the Shadow Lords. Though Zulo is truely powerful, I'm not sure how powerful the other werewolf tribes are against them.

Roland pretty well covered it. i would add that fire will really mess up their day.
