Boat to Elizabeth Dane missing (Plus Patch 9.7)

Hey everyone,

so I've reinstalled VtMB again after several years and also the Plus Patch 9.7.
I've come to the point where I'm about to take the boat from the Santa Monica beach to the Elizabeth Dane. Well, unfortunately the boat seems to be missing. I've been looking around everywhere and even set my gamma settings to max, yet nothing...

Couldn't find an answer with Google, so here I am. It's the first bug ever since I've started the new playthrough.

That's strange - I did this mission yesterday with the 9.7 patch and the boat was at the beach no problem. Is it possible to reload an old save and try again?

Well i did. Also i reloaded the whole as i headed back to main area.

Sooo...I've decided to reinstall the whole damn thing (game & patch). But nothing. I guess there is no magical console command which brings me aboard the Dane? Then it seems, my playthrough has come to a quite early end.

Are you sure you tell LaCroix you are ready to go to the Elizabeth Dane?

Oh ffs...apparently I did NOT...somehow I didn't remember I actually had to talk to LaCroix again after meeting Nines. Oh well...

Thanks you ! Almost 5 years later this thread is still usefull. Back to LaCroix it is ! Lol...
