How do you actually put points into skills?

There doesn't seem to be anyway to do it, I just bought the game and it seems the only way to do it is to click the auto assign button as there doesn't seem to be anyway to manually assign stat points

Depending on which clan you picked, you may not have been given stat points in a certain criteria. Check to see the number of skill points you are given beside whatever it is you want to level up (physicial, social, skills, talents, etc.). There's a number in brackets beside whatever you can level up.

I just figured it out, duh need to click on the bubbles that's what I get trying to figure out a new game at 12:30am lol
