2. what is dough for, I do not see any food recipe that needs it.

Buy a rod from the fisherman use 1 of the 3 baits, worms can be dug up when you plant seeds, or buy them, blue glow lights use a net to catch them at night and 3 use a net to catch butterflies, both of these can also be bought, to use dough you need to make a work station

yeah but when I throw the rod into the water how to I catch the fish with the mini game.

As soon as the image with the blue bar appears, you have a fish on your hook.
By clicking with the left mouse button, you pull in the line and push the bar upwards.
But you also have to let go and click again to get the bar to the top. If you pull for a long time, you go over the bar and the fish stays in the water.
So you have to push the bar upwards by clicking and releasing.

I havent met a fisherman yet, I made the simple rod, I have worms but do not seem to be able to bait it so fishing isnt getting anywhere. There doesnt seem to be a hook in either of the workbenches, I am guessing I am missing something? It is kind of stalling the game at the moment

oh the the dough goes into the kiln to make a rather grim looking bread

There is an extra equipment slot for the bait, so it is not enough to have it somewhere in your inventory.

Pressing i when you have you inventory you get up the place where you add clothes and the light and there is a box where you put bait, worms glow flies and butterflies

great thank you. Now i just need to learn how to set up electricity properly because i have no clue and wtf does enemies are close mean????? It isnt allowing him to sleep
