Problems with a DLL file. Help!

I've been playing Farming Giant for a while now, a couple weeks at least, no problems. Then today I go to run the game and I get the following error: "The program can't start because PhysXLoader.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

First, I tried to just restart the computer as Steam store was also not loading so I figured it was a Steam issue. Restarted it, no fix.

Second, I did as the error suggested. I unistalled the game and reinstalled it. Still get the same error.

So I googled PhysXLoader.dll and noticed that in the Steam forum people said they had an issue as well but for a different game as they state to go to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\
steamapps\common\metro2033\install and it would fix the problem. I get as far as the common file in that path but find no metro 2033 so I assume that's a different game. I'm not sure where else to look.

Can anyone help me?

I also saw where someone else couldn't find it and just downloaded it from somewhere else and put it in the windows\systemfolders and it worked as well. I'm a little leary of doing that unless that's the only way to fix the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just go to the Nvidia website and download the latest PhysX drivers (currently http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.15.0428-driver.html ).

It doesn't matter if you don't have a Nividia card, PhysX is just a physics engine, if it can't use a native Nividia card to run the engine in hardware mode, it will instead use your CPU to operate in software mode.

never mind. installed physx from the farming giant folder and it worked. funny how it wouldnt work with physx downloaded directly from nvidia

Yeah. Sorry. I couldn't figure out where I found it. My apologies for not seeing your comment earlier. But that's how I found it. I had to look in another game folder to find the install folder.
