How do you Zoom in and out without a mouse wheel ?

I do not have a mouse wheel. I have a 2 button track ball.

I think it's Page Up and Page Down with the keyboard.

I tried the Page Up and Page Down and nothing happens. There is no way assign keys to anything. I guess I will have to go without Zoom in and out.
