This patch is to improve disconnects, but also load-in times. A lot of art needed to be optimized and we took this one step further. It will also reduce the space required for Oh Baby Kart. This is a needed step in preparing for how OBK Mobile will work.

Time trial badges have been updated (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Red). There will be a new time trial event soon(ish). There is no reset though to be clear, so keep working on those times!


1. A special variation of the Champion Kart in HOH colors have been given to the winners of the guild wars last year (who raced).

2. Guild Banners are integrated, we will need to give you a form to decide who to allocate these banners to, as once allocated, they will not be removed. More info in the next few weeks here.

We still need time to prep guilds going forward. Again, we advise to not do anything drastic until a full video explains guilds going forward for OBK and future games.

Try to get the highest score possible with a group of fellow racers. Protect the base from chickens with knives, bulls and even turtles with canons.
To kick start this mode we are giving 500 BP to each person in the top 100 teams on the Chicken Defender Leaderboard (you can set a score with multiple teams, max 3000 BP per person). Leaderboard will reset on December 21st.

With Defender Mode coming in, we have temporarily rotated Duo Grand Prix mode out. We would like to work with our community to try and create more rotating game modes.

As the new players arrive, we have re-introduced Grand Prix and Grand Prix PRO (instead of PRO replacing the casual Grand Prix). Grand Prix PRO is once again unlocked at level 30.

We heard you out. Some cups are too difficult for players and have a very steep learning curve. RR cups 1-14 have had difficulty tweaks but we have kept cups 15 onwards as is, as we feel the rewards are equal to the effort required to beat these cups.

The weekly progression rewards have been adjusted. We have added a special Scrap Box instead of certain BP increments.

New Battle Pass is here! You can no longer purchase the Dino Pass, with that we introduce the new Pirate Pass - full of new goodies, a unique skin and Pirate loot boxes! As always, you KEEP THE BATTLE PASSES you have previously purchased.

1. Certain RR CUPS were causing a crashes. These have been completely patched and will no longer crash.

2. Starting coins on certain modes were starting higher than normal. This has also been completely patched and fixed (very important for competitive games and our upcoming Duo Tournament this weekend!)

Let us start off with the big new feature coming to Oh Baby Kart – proximity chat! Now, you can communicate with other racers in real-time when you’re close to them on the track. Whether it’s strategizing with allies, throwing playful taunts at your rivals, or sharing a quick laugh during intense races, proximity chat adds a new level of excitement and interaction.

In addition to Automatic and Manual modes, we are adding a new setting called “No Drift”. This new setting is aimed at brand new players to help them ease into the game and learn about the mechanics.

Introducing a new training mode where you can further develop your karting skills and accuracy. This new mode is aimed at experienced players to practise harder mechanics.

In addition to some slight map adjustments, a new musical map will be appearing! Keep an eye out for it and let us know what you think.

We have added a new tutorial stage for beginners! When you complete it in our main menu it will be found in the SOLO tab under 'more'.

We plan to use this tab to rotate in and out more future modes!


* Landing in general did not feel great. We adjusted the physics to make it smoother but also prevent 'in floor' collisions making you break through the floor.

* Ultimate abilities will track the floor better and on-hits.

* Colliders in stages as a whole are improved.


* Added sort functions for items


* Fooo: hook speed boost increased 12%

* Khun: 8% reduction in ultimate cost for base A. Second ultimate only loses 5 coins, instead of 100%

* Pas: Starts with 2 coins as a base

* Loma: 2% drift power increase

* Dib: Invention bomb bonus last 1 second longer. Explosion will not make players lose coins.

* Ha Yuri: Rose Booster has a 10% bonus speed. Ha Yuri's ultimate cannot trigger off herself anymore.

* Zach: Slip Stream + 20% bonus

Hello everyone!

It’s finally here! Patch 1.0 is LIVE! We are also beyond excited to announce an incredible new collaboration in Oh Baby Kart featuring Tower of God! From October 8, 2024, to November 7, 2024, you'll have the chance to purchase exclusive skins from this hit series and take on a unique community challenge.


We are excited to be collaborating with Tower of God to bring players five brand new characters to the game! In addition to the characters, we will be releasing a new community event in-game where players will have to complete a global meter in the lobby. Every race adds points to this meter, and once it's filled, the entire community unlocks special rewards! Think of it as a “test” from the Tower itself—the more you race, the closer you get to victory and your rewards!

Every race will add points to the meter. Below is a breakdown of the points:

Grand Prix Races (solo and duo): 4 points
Race Royale Races: 1 point
Players using a Tower of God character will earn an additional 2 points

In order for the community to get rewards, everyone will need to come together to fill the meter and reach the milestones below:

• 25% Filled: 1x Exclusive Wheels Unannounced Exclusive Kart
  
• 50% Filled: 1x Limited Lootcrate
