Tappity tap tap tap noise??

[Area 51 Experiment]

Okay this game looks adorable, right up my alley; and while I was ABOUT to buy it (yes I know its inexpensive and that there are also optional micro transactions) - I quick went to You Tube to check out at least one video right quick, and noted that all I heard is this terrible tapping noise when I guess players hit enemies, the sound continued in the video even when the player went into town (due to the fighting being right outside town)

Okay this noise, to me, is awful. Does this go away or change it's pitch or ANYTHING? Or, is this the constant noise you have to endure the whole game, pretty much everywhere you go?
