Vanilla M2: Good, Kingmaker...bad
Loved vanilla 2, while there were some challenging scenarios...there is nothing like Kingmaker. Its absolutely frustrating to the point, being a non-cheater, I want to cheat...so I can just progress!

Hit the scenario where you're going against the leader of the grum grog and they want you to build only rogue and ranger guilds...did that. Explored/killed the entire bottom half of the map, placed all trade depots, and leveled market/blacksmith all the way up. then boom, you get discovered...no problem, part of the scenario. But, they hit me with 2 "great shamans" each having 6k hp and a ton of nasty spells? Also at the same time, I get hit with werewolves, vampires?! Seriously aggrevating as there is no way you can prep for that. I even had 2 rog and 2 ranger guilds!

Now here's the really fun bit: You can't cheat.

There are no built-in cheats. Any external cheat, be it by save editing or memory hacking is closed off through various means. When people started editing saves, they went and encrypted them. When people started using CheatEngine or similar memory editors...they hid the relevant values so you can't isolate them. There is no way to get past their stupid 'start mission 500 times until you hit the one where you get lucky and survive beyond the 5-minute mark' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Um...was more for just polishing the point. I still wouldn't cheat anyway.

What you are experiencing is probably no unique to the expansions, but instead the most annoying bug that plagues Majesty 2: monster spawns and AI scripts can go awry when the game speed is increased past 1x.

If the Great Shamans are marching out with the first goblin incursion, then this bug is almost certainly the culprit to blame. While it is incredibly frustrating, you can avoid it by limiting your game speed to no more than 1x until you are more established. If you still feel like finishing this last mission, then give it another try with the game speed under tight control. You should find that the strength of goblin raids will ramp up at a much more reasonable pace then.

Not sure if its the same campaign I was playing, but I got to a stage where kobold paladins or whatever started coming but there was no way to destroy the buildings because they were INSIDE THE BASE of the place I gotta go...oh and all around the map so by the time they start coming you had to kill like 5 werewolve dens and 2-3 of the kobold paladin places....but then the town starts sending 10-15 at a time and they just kill me.

maybe id go back and try it with 1x speed and see if that works

I noticed that if you take out too many of the kobold liars too early the remaing ones will start spawning and attacking you. But if you wait to late then all of them will swarm you.
