[Note I installed the game from CD not for steam] This game works on my old pc vista but that old thing is crashing badly i never really use it. Installed the game on my new pc windows 10 and..... I cant play it. Also when i search for the game to uninstall or to open it, i don't see it anywhere (Shortcut is not made as well), i manually try to run it through the cd and get that error.
I also did look for the folders, i cant find them as well. Any ideas cause this in my opinion looks like the game wont install anything.
Attempts - Re-install, update pc and everything is up to date - no folders that i can see were made.

but did you install the game or what? if you did the executable must be somewhere. if you cant find it then just try to install the game again and the installer will show you the directory where it wants to install.

i did try this, the game says its installing when i do, but nothing was installed.

my old pc which is windows vista that crashs a lot, does not have this problem and plays the game with no problem

no idea. maybe its a privileges issue that doesnt let you install guess you could try running the installer with admin privileges but most likely it wont help.

I think it has something to do with installing old games under windows 10. I noticed that with other games that were installed, I had to hunt for the file to launch the game. I think the answer is that you have to install the game AS AN ADMINISTRATOR for the icons to show up in the correct place.

well now i got a different response when trying to install it again, instead of fake installing with nothing being downloaded, i get a message saying "This app has been blocked for your protection" By the administrator (which i right clicked and cant run it as administrator, also i am set to administrator) searched up and something to do with regedit, but while looking in comments, i seen that others had problems with there pc after doing this (no audio, blue screen, and others), not sure if i should do this or not.

Update: I found the files after countless trys on fixing the "blocked for protection" and finding out why i cant see it, but now the biggest question.
I used compatibility for all window versions, and i still have the error for installation.
Now this is a CD but, how would one install this on windows 10?

Did you ever figure this out? I recently bought a copy brand new I found at a goodwill but it won't let me install and I get error "An administrator has blocked you from running this app"... I am the administrator and can't choose to run as administrator. I can do it if I open file explorer but that's it. Any help would be appreciated

Yeah by buying the game from steam, other wise the physical cd didnt work at all, not sure how to get the physical copy of it working.
