Cursed Coins

Hi to all.

I'm about to start playing this & am wondering about the achievements.

Is the "Unburied Treasure-All those Cursed Coins are now yours"" achievement, a collectable achievement ?
ie. do i collect "Cursed Coins" all through the game, like the Brass Sea Horses/ Silver Parrots/ Golden Octopi collectables in Sirens Call ?

You have to collect them through the game, but they are part of the story, you can't progress without getting them. They are like the cursed coins in Sirens Call (and certainly, not as hard to find as the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ parrots ¬¬).
