Crash on Linux

Nightmares from the Deep crashes immidiately on my Slackware system. All other Artifex Mundi games I've played (I have most) had no problems. Error message is:

X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 20 (X_GetProperty)
Atom id in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 21
Current serial number in output stream: 21

Game files verified, no problems.
