Thanks so much for your feedback! It’s especially valuable since you have a solid grasp of the slot-crafting mechanics, yet still encountered issues with the boss. We're continuing to fine-tune the balance of the game.
For a while, many players found the demo too easy, with some saying slot-crafting felt unnecessary because they could just bash through Snotty after each respawn using only the starting gear. It seems like in this version, we may have pushed the difficulty too far, especially with resetting his HP after each player respawns. We'll definitely reconsider that.
In the meantime, I’d recommend exploring the Sanctuary a bit more—there are quite a few slotted dishes scattered around, as well as two fresh sets of armor and a mace. Also, check out yesterday’s news post for tips on various ways to handle the slugs. :)
