Mod Developement
Ok... I see that nobody has put any work into modding lately... Ok... That's not right...

NOBODY has at all, here on Steam.

So I have to ask, to sate my own curiosity and to get mod developement rolling

Is there a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guide to modding, or at least a program that helps with this crap?

The creator of the Old RPG Tileset is currently working on bringing the new version of his tileset to Steam, so there's at least one person.

Where your game is installed, is a folder called game/modules/example. I have not tried to run it, but it looks like a reasonable start for endavours without having to deal with the huge codebase of the game itself. there is also a dedicated developer section on their wiki page: http://te4.org/wiki/Main_Page (bottom of the page)

There are actually 2 different cateogories:

Module and Addon development.
Modules are stand alone games based on the T-Engine4, like ToME.
Addons are modifications to Modules, like what you currently see on the Steam Workshop.

The ToME wiki has some tips for development, if you need more help the best way is to join the IRC #tome on the Rizon server. As the complete code of ToME is opensource, its a great way to learn, too.

This list[te4.org] on ToME's website shows 15 addons updated in the past week, and a pretty steady stream of updates before that.

Most of the work goes on in the ToME forum here[forums.te4.org], with just updates being pushed to Steam.

There's a bit of information on creating addons here[te4.org], but the best way is to just grab a similar addon, look at the code, and ask on IRC and the forums. As for a program, any text editor works, but one with lua syntax highlighting (like gedit) is better.

Just posted my mod for all to enjoy, if you can find it? Not sure when a mod becomes findable to the public at large.

Can't find it, even though I noticed the number of mods at the workshop increased after you posted this (from 48 to 49 mods). What's the name?
