It looks like the exact same engine except with different text and pictures. I know Elona is some random Japanese made indie game, but come on, this is just down right lazy if you guys just copied the game and are selling it now on steam.

Every game has derived some inspiration from somewhere, and unless it is as you say, a total copy-cat ripoff and all the features are the same, then you have no right to criticize ToME because you will then have to criticize every other game out there.

Actually. Tales of Maj'eyal is 9 - 10 years older than Elona.

The first version of what we today know as Tales of Maj'eyal was released 1998
Elona was released 2007
