Stuck on loading screen

Since the new update, i have been stuck on the loading screen at 100% progress after starting a new game. I have deleted the local content and re-downloaded. I have no add-ons enabled. My system specs are as follows:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770x
OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB

Same here. Taken out all addons and reinstalled. Crap.

Alright, I fixed mine. Even if you uninstall addons through steam, they are kept in the game. On start up, go to addons, and deselect things there.

I had this happen due to the add on that adds Taints, one of them is dependant on Paradox which has been re-worked, both of the Temporal classes have been redone.

I've informed the mod's caretaker on the TOME forums and he says it should be a simple fix, but at least for me that one was the culprit.

If all else fails, disable all add ons for a couple weeks of course, while people get around to updating things that need updating.

You know I had this problem, so I disabled all my addons, then it worked again. Then today I saw the game was on sale so I decided why not spend 20 cents and get the steamtech UI. Ever since there's nothing I can do that will fix the problem. I even tried disabling the steamtech UI addon.

Are you creating new characters? Loading characters will load whatever addons they were created with, even if they are disabled.

i have tried everything now, the game still doesn't work ;( was really excited to play the game (i'm on mac)

Disable Steam overlay by rightclicking it in your Steam library, Properties and unchecking "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game".

If that still doesnt work post the logfile or we cant really help you.

I have no idea why but I've had this happen a few times and for some reason alt+tabbing and then bringing game back up always gets me out of the loading screen.

I used to be able to play this game. I haven't played it for a while but when I fired it up today it does the 100% in the loading screen, but then gets stuck and I have to go into task manager to end the application as it is no longer responding. Any suggestions welcome.

I deleted all add ons except the two dlc I had. Then the game loads up and plays properly. Definitely a problem with the add ons.
