Items that are no longer in your chest can unfortunately not be sold all at once and have to be transmogged (sold) individually.
You could also play characters that have a high weight capacity, such as strength based characters. You could potentially get away with never selling anything you take out of the chest (especially with the I Can Carry The World prodigy).
You can get the chest from killing Bill in Trollmire, if you haven't done so already.
So is selling pointless? I'm super new to the game, and I assumed the money would come in handy at some point.
If your are playing in infinite dungeon then u can find an another version of same artifacts without any problem: feel free to delete everything u don't need at this moment.
