Cosmetic Item… A joke?

I don't remember having ever owned a cosmetic item before, but I may not have noticed it.

For me, a cosmetic item has no influence on the gameplay. So why does it have stats? Is it just a touch of humor?

You appear to be using a mod in that information display.

The base kruk cloak might have no stats but that is a violet rare that gets 2 greater egos.

Cosmetic items are always t1 and have no base stats, but as Moasseman said they can still have modifiers like any other piece of equipment.

It's "cosmetic" but it's more like "base gear" , the Writhing One classes pet Worm that Walks and other Worm that walks can also drop a robe specific to them, it's "cosmetic" in that these characters are meant to look a certain way and need to be wearing armor to look that way.

The character cosmetics are things like paper doll you can pick or red hair , they are purely cosmetic and don't have any impact on the character.
