Did the Lost Lands beta already occur?

Title, pretty much. I've been playing TOME again and vaguely remembered that half a year ago or so, the beta for Lost Lands was described as going into open access any day now. What happened? I've combed through the news and announcement feeds both here and on the official website but there's no word.

It didn't. The public beta for LL hasn't started yet.

Dark-God usually delivers, but not on time. Considering they announced multiple expansions, there's a very real chance we won't see or hear anything for another year or two again.

I'm just wondering what actually happened. Like, things went from "the beta is literally one week away" to mums the word.

IRL happened, DarkGod works on this in his spare time and the beta testers are all volunteers. I want more content too but we're honestly lucky that development on this game is ongoing at all.
