Doomed shade tips?
I made my character too strong apparently, neither one of us can kill the other, I haven't been able to bring the shade down below 88% health and I've been fighting it for over an hour.

Wait! I luckily forgot to use two levels of points which gave me the edge! Wow that was tough!

You're lucky then. It's not unheard of that people just get stuck in an eternal standoff with that fight and have no choice but to rod out eventually. It's happened with several of my characters before I finally beat it.

I was running brawler with draconic body and a lot invested in defensive abilities at level 48, plus I had the stupid extra life ring in my inventory lmao

If shade don't eliminate you outrigth, then victory lies in changing equipment and carefully observing which ability shade use, as AI (actually scripts) is worse at using them than player.
