Which trees/talents do you take from escorts?
There are a lot of escorts, and many different talents available from them. Which do you think are best?

For me, the best are:
Chants from sun paladin
Scoundrel and track from thief
Disarm from loremaster
Mindstar mastery
and maybe a few others.

That's about what I like. Here's a few more worth mentioning

Warrior: vitality, especially early. Unflinching resolve if you have conditioning to save points. Conditioning is a decent escort category too. Exotic weapon mastery if you want legacy of naloren.

Sun palidin: If you have an antimagic/non magic character, augmented mobility is a good escort tree for the global speed buff that can stack with others like blinding speed

Alchemist: Stone alchemy is underrated and can give some cool stuff depending on gems you find. Staff combat can be cool, but is definitely niche.

If you have Embers of Rage, Tinkers are the best escort tree by far, but not everyone likes to take them because of this.

If you don't need anything, stats are perfectly fine to pick from escorts, especially if you get lucky. 9*5 of any stat is great.

I used to like conditioning, but now it doesn't seem worth it. Yeah, I never take tinkers for various reasons. Has anyone taken the corrupter tree? It has resistance reduction, so it could be good...

IMO, a lot is situational based on Class and Build you are going for. Often times I'll take Stats since the Talents provided are either redundant or I won't be able to make full use of. E.g. Tinker, wonderful pick that can give a big boost to your char... but you need to invest quite a bit in it to get the real juicy things.

Though there are a lot of "1 point wonders" like Track, Arcane Eye, Chants, Disarm etc, that don't need any investment but provide quite a boost for you. Then there's ones that only require a couple of points to be really helpful. Resonance Field and Conversion are quite nice on Summoner or Wyrmics(not breath builds) even as a 1 point wonder but I like getting it to 3 or 5, depending on how much I can spare.

The Corrupter/Curses Tree or Talents is a solid choice for a lot of chars(mostly Magic based IMO). I usually like picking Curse of Impotence, Curse of Death or Curse of Vulnerability. Most times it's Vulnerability or Death as I either don't have good Pen or ways to deal with enemy Regen.

You should always take the tree on tinkers and paladin (both versions)
You should rarely take the trees on the other. There is no way you have better use of cat/gen point than tinker/chants, and augmented mobility is very nice.
Disarm is excellent, lacerating strikes, nature's touch, and resonance field are good.

Vitality is pretty good even with just 1 point.
Paladin magical buff is really good either 1 of them.
I take tinker crafting tree if that hero has spare category points at lv 20.
Otherwise, I take stat. ease up the leveling pain

I grinded for the Feedback tree in my NM RL Thalore Summoner run :p
It's pretty nice.

Vitality and Track are good for anyone. Exotic weapons - IF you are 2h-based fighter. Disarm is useful, but for melee fighters I often take one of the ranged options instead. SunPal's reward probably requires rework as it currently gives talents from the previous version of the game. Still useful, but... Anorithil healing options were actually required in previous versions as they allowed healing of escorts - but now we have torqs for that. Corruptors I find useless - at least if you are not going to invest in them heavily. About the same with Alchemists - with an additional fact that you can get Staff or Mindstar tree just for money in the main campaign! Tinkers are quite strong but require heavy investment - so I sometimes choose Last Engineer Standing instead! Lacerating strikes is useful, but no more. Plus, not for caster classes/builds.
