Jewrly has to be in armor or weapon for effect?
Have a few gems, tootip says they increase a lot of stats when wielded/worn. But seems like I cant wield them on their own. Do they have to be inserted into a weapon or armor via an alchemist? Any other way to utilize em? thanks

There are 3 ways to Equip Gems

1 : the Alchemst talent Imbue item into a chest piece, or helmets and belts aswell but ONLY if you have the crafty hands prodigy

2 : pay the jewelers in either Angolwen or the Gates of morning to imbue them into a ring with NO-EGO'S (Ego's being the modifer non enchanted items)

3 : be a Mindslayer and and equip it to the telekinetic slot using telekinetic grasp to equip it and beyond the flesh to activate it. also mindslayers who are using a gem in there TK slot will enjoy a +3 bonus per gem tier to all primary stats on top of the gems normal bonuses

Hope this helped

You missed two ways:

4. Alchemists can also equip their golems with gems, given the right talents, and

5. Tirakai's Maul, a unique weapon, uses gems (and gains their effects) to change its damage and power modes.

Note: Gems inserted into Tirikai's Maul are NOT "used up"; you can swap them as you like.

The sad thing about gem is......
Mostly use by Alchemist and Mindslayer.

For the rest of heroes mostly just vendor trash.
Even with the features of combining 2 gem into 1 ring/amulet.
I highly doubt it worth
