Is there a list of what every item stat does?
Noob here, and I'm curious if there's some guide or list of what stats on items do. Not talking about the main attribute stats, but ones you find on weapons or armor. I'm not a complete dummy and know what most of them do, but a lot I can't find answer too even when i google it or go to the wiki. For example, Infravis. Is that infrared vision? If so what does it do? Or something else like, Max Air. I can take a good guess, but I'd love if there was something to explain these. Thank you in advance.

Infravision means you can always spot enemies that are within this range regardless of lighting conditions. So basically if you have a lightradius of two and an infravision radius of 6, you will be able to spot enemies in dark dungeons in a range of 6 despite of having a lightradius of 2.

Max Air refers to the air bar that pops up when you walk on tiles that are deep water. Normally, with the exception of Yeek, your air bar is capped at 100. If you are wearing something that increases max air, then the cap will go up, meaning you can spend more time on deep water tiles without drowning.

There are also a few enemy abilities that can affect your air bar, like constrict, but I have never encountered a single enemy that got even remotely close to making my character suffocate that way.

You can use "C" to look at your character sheet. Then equip the item and use "C" again and in most cases it will show the changes made by the item.

Thanks for the replies, but I'm guessing there isn't anything out there that tells you what they all do?

There is the wiki, a bit outdated: https://te4.org/wiki/Tales_of_Maj%27Eyal_Wiki
Also tome tips for talent info: https://tometips.github.io/#

Also, when you're on that character sheet, a lot of stats and numbers will try to pop up a tooltip to explain it if you hover your mouse over it. It's not always super informative, though. And sometimes things go into the exact same category (infravision, for example, is part of the Heightened Senses stat). But it gets you a pretty long way.

And don't forget, you can right-click creatures and inspect them, to open their character sheets as well.

Thanks. I do my best to find the answers I don't know, but sometimes it's just not out there.

I have a stat on my weapon called: Phasing. What does it do?

Only thing I could find on the wiki is there is a magical buff called:
Out of Phasing- The target is out of phase with reality, increasing defense by X, resist all by X%, and the duration of all detrimental timed effects by X%.

I'm guessing it increases the resistances when Out of Phase?

Are you using the 'Better Item description' mod? Phasing seems to be a term used by that mod to describe damage shield penetration.
If you are, I would recommend turning the mod off until you feel more familiar with the game.

I am, I figured it would help, but I will turn it off for the time being. Thank you.

When you're not familiar with the game that mod is detrimental because it uses terms used nowhere else in the game (and uses terrible abreviations). When you ARE familiar with the game it's very detrimental because you already know what the stats are and how they are ordered and the mod messes everything up making you relearn everything.
