Is there a list somewhere for all the Permanant Stats you can get?
Like a cheat sheet of all the oportunities to get stat points, resistances or character upgrades that can be encountered? I have tried some cursory searches but have only found piecemeal information so far.

That list sounds good. I'm gonna make my contribution of what I remember and maybe we can get something alike it, more or less.

First, the arena upgrade:
> By beating the arena in Derth, you can get two generic points, but note that the arena can only be done at levels 13 and under.

Saving the Yeek Wayist from Subject Z grants +15 to your mental saves and 10% confusion resistance.

First, and probably the most important upgrades you can get, the Sandworm Lair ones.
> The Heart of the Sandworm Queen, can grant to characters that can use infusions:
> > 3 stat points
> > 1 class point
> > 1 generic point
> > and also an upgrade to the Wild-Gift/Harmony talent category.
> Said Heart can be corrupted on the altar at the Mark of the Spellblaze to get the Corrupted Heart of the Sandworm Queen, which can be used by any non-antimagic character to get the same benefits as the normal heart, with the exception of the Wild-Gift/Harmony category, which gets replaced by the Corruption/Vile Life talent category.

Additionally, you can also get the Wyrm Bile from the Corrupted Sand Wyrm, in the Sandworm Lair, after you return from the Far East. The Wyrm Bile will grant you:
> A random -3 to +6 for each of your stats.
> A Category point, which is needlessly to say very valuable.

The Blood of Life, a random artifact, can grant Living characters one extra life.

From escorts you can several bonuses. In each playthrough, there will always be 9 escorts, spread around randomly across specific dungeons, and what type of escort they are is also randomly selected. Since this topic is quite long, please refer to https://te4.org/wiki/Escorts

Also don't forget about the Brotherhood of Alchemists quest, from which you can gain upon to five different potions with different bonuses. This topic is also quite long, so please refer to https://te4.org/wiki/Brotherhood_of_Alchemists

This page goes into more detail about how you can get more talent/category points, and some categories that you can get without spending points. I advise you to check it out as well: https://te4.org/wiki/Talent

High Sun Paladin Aeryn will teach you the Relentless Pursuit skill when you meet her.

The bosses of the orc Prides each drops orbs that give bonuses to stats while carried (which you will for the duration of the game).

There's a random boss wolf (forgot his name) who will drop an item that grants you telepathy with canines while carried.

Completing certain quests will unlock additional skill categories or prodigies. For example, siding with Slasul will unlock the Legacy of the Naloren prodigy.

You can buy the talent trees of Mindstar and Staff Combat. 500 gets the tree unlocked, and 750 more adds some mastery to it. But if you get a respective talent from helping/betraying an alchemist for a skill from those trees, you gain by default a bonus 0.1 mastery permanently when you do purchase it, so don't purchase it until you've gotten such an escort, if you intend to.

Going antimagic before the helping Derth with their storm problem will allow you to ALSO gain the Fungus tree (locked) on any character who does it, by checking in with the town and Zigur's lord after fixing the issue. It's an insanely powerful skill tree. Wyrmics have the tree, but locked, by default, and will instead unlock it for free on doing this. If you unlocked it prior, it gets a mastery bonus boost, as usual.

If you help the Grand Corruptor destroy Zigur, he will give you the hexes tree for free. It's a pretty garbage tree if you need to waste a category point on it, but for classes that start with it unlocked and may use a few talents in it, the bonus mastery point they get in it instead is nice to have.

Level 50 grants you approximately 3 level-ups worth of power instead of just one.

Cornacs gain bonus talents every few levels, and get a free category point on character creation. This is pretty powerful.
