How to Save Woman from Dark Crypt?
I'm playing a Berserker, and every time I go to try and save her, the 4 or so mages who surround her blast me with magic before I get to her.

Is there a way to get there, save her, and not die in the process?

I appreciate any ideas on this game :D

no

Saving her is the easy bit, it's managing to leave her behind so she doesn't die between there and the exit that's hard if you don't have enough movement/teleport abilities.

well there is a easy way to keep her alive once you save her from the cultist, BUT that is if you can get there and save her =p Otherwise you need to daze, stun, and enough damage one mage at a time. Use LOS with the walls in the corners too.

That place is called the "Suicide Crypt" for a reason. Normally you just skip it entirely.

The best I can suggest is to download a mod from Steam workshop that makes the Crypt always visible on the map, so that you can return to it much later in the game instead of it being a random discovery.

Another way (without using mods) would be to clear Dreadfell and go on to different locations in the game before reaching level 25 (because the Crypt only appears after you are at least that level), but that's rarely possible unless you intentionally skip some of the earlier dungeons... which is worse than trying to save Melinda.

I was able to save Melinda as ShadowBlade Ghoul on Nightmare Roguelike.
And it was, actually, quite easy taking into account amount of "close gap" abilities this combo has.

also have you tried using actual gap closers like rush and movement infusions

but seriously dark crypt is the most dangerous area in the game, i've cleared it a few times on insane with severely overpowered combos but i wouldn't recommend it as you can instantly die to zoning in and being surrounded and the level requirement is obnoxiously low. it doesn't get any easier on NM/normal either since soul rots hurt anyway

Yeah I cake-walked more or less through Master's zone, but then immediately got thrown into Dark Crypt where the Doom spell took 70dps a turn... :(

I was trying to beat it with only 3 infusions but I realize now that simply isn't going to be easy.

You're right. I need a movement infusion, so I'll probably have to unlock another Infusion.
