Game freezing when starting a new game

Game freeze when I try to start a new game. I tried reinstalling, deleting world file, starting on safe mode and none of them work.
I can load a saved game easily enough, just can't start a new one after 1.4.0 patch :(

None, only playing official expansion. Turning off this Ashes of [...] make my loading bar goes to 100% but still crashing.

Humm damn I cant get it to happen .. any idea of any special conditions there could be on yoru side ? can you check which files exactly reside in game/dlcs/ and game/addons/ please ?

In addons: .keep / tome-addon-dev.teaa / tome-items-vault.teaa / tome-marson-ui.teaa / tome-stone-wardens.teaa

And about special conditions I have no idea, game works perfectly before yesterday update

I'm getting the exact same issue. It worked fine after the update though, then I launched it again and now it refuses to work.
I can sometimes get to the character creator, but it seems tempramental and I'm not sure if I can actually make one. I have to click through errors to get to it.

Hm, if i click through the error, and then start a new game, I can play it fine. This is really bizarre.

If I enable any addons other than "Ignore Race/Class Locks" though, I get the error that the OP gets.

Disabling all addons right in game solved this problem for me

Yeah upon release some.many addons can break, in case of problems always try without addons first :)
