Any way beyond this bug?

I’m playing on Android but can’t find any chat about this game outside of here. I think I’ve just come across a game breaking bug, but want to see if anyone has any suggestions:

I had just finished the Rookery quest when my game crashed. I started it up again, and the world state reflects my completion of that task (the bird appeared that I needed to follow, and I cannot traverse through the Rookery fully due to rafts being moved from my first time through). However, the game still shows the Rookery in my incomplete tasks, along with the next task of following the bird.

When I follow the bird/quest arrows I am lead to a screen where I know the bird should be, but it is bare save for some water and small islands. I don’t see any way out of this without starting the game from scratch (can’t see an option for chapters etc.). Am I out of luck?

- Seems like the rookery is completed, no need to go back there.

- But following the bird is not good neither, because if you go there nothing happens?
Can you share a screenshot of the area where you went following the bird?

Not sure what to do if the game crashes, I'm guessing all sorts of unexpected things may happen. We will look into that crash. Did something specific happened right before that crash that may be useful for us to track the issue?

Hi, yes the game crashed during the end of the Rookery “cutscene” where the bird cracked the pressure plate I guided it onto using the joystick (sorry if these terms aren’t canon, but hopefully you know what I mean).

I’ll share the screenshots in the email you sent (thanks for the response to this by the way, much appreciated) as I can’t figure out how to share screenshots here.

Game has crashed for me in the middle of the rookery quest. I had exited/saved outside one of the houses, and now upon returning the game shows me a layout that was not where I was, does not show the character, and does not allow me to exit the screen.
