Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator

Fellow alchemists , It has been a honour to play this game alongside with you.
The quiet ripples of sorrow spread through our small, beloved community when the announcement came—the end of service for Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator. A bittersweet curtain call for a world we had come to cherish, where alchemy wove dreams and memories into golden threads of adventure. To my fellow players, who walked this luminous path with me, I pen this farewell, not with anger, but with a heavy heart, suffused with gratitude and longing.

From the first time we opened the gates to this alchemical world, we became more than mere players. We were explorers, seekers of wisdom, artisans crafting connections. Every cauldron we stirred, every potion we brewed, became a testament to our shared wonder. The frozen beauty of the Polar Night whispered tales of courage and resolve, and the gentle warmth of our shared moments gave life to Resleriana's legacy.

Do you remember those nights? Those nights we traded gacha pulls, stories, and hopes in the general chats, where strangers became waifus, and companions became friends. The nights stretched into dawn, our laughter mingling with the soft hum of our screens, the world outside momentarily forgotten. Together, we conquered trials and tribulations, not just within the game but often in our own lives, bolstered by this unlikely kinship forged in 2d and 3d splendor.

And now, as the alchemical fires cool and the Polar Night fades into eternal silence, I feel the weight of this loss settle deep within. A loss that is not just of a game, but of a shared sanctuary, a repository of countless memories that will now exist only in the echoes of our hearts.

To the developers, whose dreams birthed this ephemeral world, and to the artists, writers, and visionaries who gave it breath—thank you. You shared with us a part of your soul, a masterpiece that resonated with ours. Though we must bid farewell to the game, its essence will linger, as alchemy often does, transforming loss into remembrance.

To my fellow players, this is not goodbye but rather a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for your kindness, your grind, and your gambling gacha joy. Though our shared journey in Resleriana’s landscape has come to an end, the 50/50 we won remain, impervious to the passage of time.

And so, as the final spark of alchemy fades, let us hold this world close within us. For Resleriana may be forgotten by its creators, but it will never be forgotten by us, its loyal alchemists, and gamblers of its memories.

Farewell, Resleriana, and farewell to the players who made it a world worth exploring. May we carry its light into next gacha game of atelier yet to come.

Yes, it is a beautiful game indeed.
I was wishing for an offline version of it but sadly it isn't done yet in the jp side and we can't actually have it since we're far behind so it will definitely be all gone now....welp this won't stop me from playing Atelier games though XD You will be remembered A25.
After playing it. It not as bad as some say it is. It was alright. It like one of those puzzle RPG things to figure out from battles enemy against it.

this reminds me of priconne doing anni and directly eos too
This was one of the most visually stunning and beautiful gacha games I've ever played so it definitely will remain in my memories for years to come. It was great seeing my fav chars from past games essentially get (remastered) through Atelier Resleriana.

I've really enjoyed Resleriana. I only got into it around October-November I think, but I was pretty quickly swept up in the characters (original & returning) as well as the setting and overarching narrative. I was consistently impressed with the polish on this freemium game - the character models & animation, the tight Japanese voice work, the *really* expressive and natural-sounding English translations (having previously played Ryza 3, this was SUCH a breath of fresh air), the battle system, the music, the character writing... I went in expecting much, much less and was pleasantly surprised all the time.

I'm really saddened to know we're losing access right up to the first half of chapter 21. I've been engrossed with the story, and with the original characters' development. I know Atelier games have a strength in heartwarming character moments & dynamics, and it's been great in Resleriana. Heck, the characterizations for a lot of legacy characters were great, and got me interested in trying other branches of the series (having only played through Ryza's games before, and Mana Khemia 1 before that).

I'm also bummed to know that the traditional RPG Resleriana coming up later, while in the same universe, seems like it's going to focus on different characters in (I think) a different point on the timeline. I've gotten really attached to Resna, Izana, Valeria, and Heidi. I hope they'll feature in future games some way but, I'm not too optimistic.

Man. I'm really going to miss this game. Gacha model or not.

I really love the characters in this game. It was kind of sad for not be able to play this game anymore after that. Hope they will be add offline mode later years.

dont stop this game, I love it , it is so beautiful and cheerful at the same time.
Yeah it's sad to see this game shutting down, game definitely had its own charm: character models and animations were great, VA was really good, story was nice. Gotta find some time to finish remaining story chapters and side events archive now before server shutdown. This game definitely game me interest to try out more of Atelier series other than Ryza.
