Cant get on the roof

Hello motel managers,
Cant seem to get up on the roof to pick up the prize that lurks there.
Tried the long ladder to no success.
Anyone know how to get up there?

Put a box on top of the ladder.

EDIT: Seriously you can do this right at the start of the game. These other solutions are making things way more complicated than they need to be.

I used the short ladder at 5 stars.

Easy peasy.
Put the large ladder on the bed and the step ladder on top of the big ladder. That gives the perfect height to just jump onto the roof of the building.

Or You can put the large ladder on top of the police vehicle when he shows up. If you place it just right you can do it. And jump onto the higher part of the roof on the side. Worked like a charm for me.

I put the tall ladder on the ground next to the front of room 1. I climbed up, to that little roof, then looked at the ladder and grabbed it to place on top of the room 1 roof. Then climbed up to the prize.

You can climb back down the same way with one ladder or just grab the ladder and jump off. There wasn't fall damage. Just make sure you grab the ladder so it doesn't cause clipping issues when you build the second floor!

My son figured out you can put the starting red cart on top of the starting paint cans in front of room 1 and then jump from the handle to the light at the room 1 door then from the light to the roof. Once on the roof you can click the prize without having to go up to the very top and didn’t have to buy the large ladder.

This is what i did. if you built at least room 11. take the little step ladder place it in front of room 11 so you can step on it, and jump up on the roof. east as pie. I like the reward LOL.

I put the tall ladder next to a vending machine, used the ladder to get onto the machine, then picked up the ladder and placed on top of the machine. easy peesy. ;o)
