Washing machines buggy?

Are the washing machines buggy or am I doing something wrong? I bought a second machine (machine 3) and I can only fit 3 items in it when it seems like I should be able to put more in?

I did one wash in the new machine and now the option to put laundry in or out of BOTH machines has disappeared completely, all I can do is lock/unlock the machine or place/throw the laundry. Any idea what's going on?

And yes, both machines are plugged in.

I havent noticed this issue, not to imply but are they empty?

Yes, i had same issue.
Found out is was me causing the issue & not game.
When picking up multiple dirty laundry stacks (3 or 4 at a time), some laundry was clean & i did not notice.
- The washing machine does not except clean laundry.

Ah, maybe this is the problem. Not saying the game is buggy, hence why I was asking here! Just wasn't sure. Cheers!
