DLC not working

Dlc was working ok until Steam downloaded a large East India update. Now DLC showing as installed but not playable. Any ideas folks?

I have noticed the same problem with the DLC not being playable. Was watching to see if your question was answered but guess it wont be.

I have a support ticket opened with Steam and I will update this thread when it's resolved. I've looked at the file location of the game folder and it appears the EIC Launcher and executables for the DLC are not in the folder.

I'm having this problem as well, I'm wanting to play as a pirate but am stuck with the base factions.

Steam support is directing me to [e-mail] for help. I sent the following email today. I suggest everyone having problems do the same.

[edit] Actually I had already sent an email to [e-mail] on Nov 20th. I sent the one below on Nov. 29th. I haven't received any reply from them as of Dec 1st.

I have purchased East India Company Complete on Steam which has the DLC

East India Company: P-i-r-a-t-e Bay
East India Company: Battle of Trafalgar
East India Company: Privateer

I am only able to play the base game. None of the DLC are available to play. There is no EIC Launcher and the executables for the expansions are not available.

Can you help me resolve this issue? I've opened a support ticket with Steam and they have directed me to Nitro Games support.

Well [e-mail] is not responding to my emails so I've asked Steam for a refund.

Do not buy East India Company Complete here on Steam as you will not recieve the DLC, just the base game.

Having the same problem.......this is bull you pay for a game as DLC and the go to patch it , now nothing works should get money back!

well steam is sending us to this web add: http://www.eic-game.com/ however there is no forums or email to get help. I found this where you can still buy the game http://replaynow.topware.com/en/east-india-company-collection-gold.html but i figure help is gonna to be awhile....they made thier money!

Please correct the situation. Same problem here. Bought the base game and then the DLC Privateer. No new campaigns for privateers.

So? are we anywhere on this? last post was 17.des... it is now 10.2.2017... I bought the bundle yesterday and experience the same problems as listed above. give me what I paid for please...

Me too, patch done, I see 'trafalgar' listed on the game menu but not the other two although they are all meant to be installed. Note trafalger doesn't play, trying it CTD, but the other two aren't even visible. I tried running their exes directly from the game folder, just get a short error message, googled it - seems to mean 'can't find main game exe'.

Same here. Bought East India Company a while ago, tried to play it again before purchasing extra games but no longer works. Thankful I did not buy additional games. Steam not dealing with it at all - issue with Nitro apparently. So why sell the games if you know they don't work?

Same problem. I bought today before reading this. Feel defrauded by Steam, who is selling a product they know isn't working.

right click on the game in steam and select the DLC
