1. Hold ctrl and press an F# key to start recording a macro for that key. Press both again to stop recording. It will show a little msg at top left of screen to show you are recording.
Make macros for healing by recording the sequence of keys you used to attempt to heal, including the enter key at the end to close a failed attempt.
So if I record on the F1 key by pressing Ctrl-F1, I can press U (use), 1 (number in list of my medic), S (skill), Medic (the number offered in skill list), 2 (number in player list for my wounded guy), then Enter. Then Ctrl-F1 to stop recording.
Then when you're in a safe place with no random encounters you SPAM that F1 key as many times as you like, time will not pass and your #1 guy can (eventually) heal that #2 guy.
Extra tips:
make macros for your lockpick guy, leaving out the direction so you can press the macro key to select your lockpicker and then manually choose the direction each time. (also works of course for healing so you manually select each time)
make a time-passing macro by recording the Esc key being held down.
make a perception check on the space you are standing on by recording Use-Player-Skill-Perception-spacebar
If anyone is actually using a mouse to play this game I wish you luck to finish it in this lifetime.
