How to fire in burst??

Got the Uzi from Ugly. Gave it to Angela. She fired all 40 rounds. From looking at wikis I now understand there is burst which fires 3 rounds, and auto which fires the whole clip. But I don't see how to switch between the two. Nor do any of the guides or wikis I've looked at tell you how. So how do you switch or choose to fire in burst?

when you are in combat and (A)ttack, there should be a choice od (S)ingle, (B)urst and (A)uto.

Ah, I see what happened. I just spammed A because I wanted all of my party to attack.

AI controlled NPCs will randomly decide to fire all of a clip etc. It's generally better to only give them single shot weapons or to give them weapons you have plenty of clips for.
