145Horas O Jogo num todo é um bom passa tempo, infelizmente o jogo é muito PaytoWin Pague para ter Aceleração de xp, pague para ter espaço, pague para roupas que te dão bônus absurdos nos ataques, pague para ter os melhores senshis, companheiros para turbinar ainda mais seu personagem, pague pague PAGUE PAGUE, certo que é a forma para o jogo se manter, mais cade o resto? cade o conteúdo de História, Cade os Eventos para ter o que Fazer, Cade as Classes? Cade a continuação de Historia, não tem, a Morte de um Jogo é ele não ter o que fazer, e hj é isso que se tem nada para fazer! O Jogo não é novo, o lv máximo hj é lv 40, o lv máximo é 120 antes de fechar, só que esquecem que coisas para usar ja possuem lv alto d+ e vc fica empacado, é vergonhoso!

Great MMO, but P2W and RNG abusive. To Brazilian players, we cant buy in item mall.

Atualizou e não loga mais... "Ah mas você pode resolver, é só ir até um monge tibetano e pedir blá blá blá" ai irmão, se fosse pra passar perrengue eu não tava jogando jogo na steam. O mínimo é deixar o negócio funcionando. O jogo em si é bem repetitivo, os sistemas até são legais, mas a lutaria mesmo cansa, é só ficar spamando skill.

Everything new being added is locked behind not only spending money, but spending money to basically play a casino game with 0.01% chance of landing on anything useful. New senshi, new costumes, new anything is put into the astral puzzle slot machine and you have to gamble to get them. This is a trend the devs seem to want to keep. Also, all new classes are locked behind a dungeon drop from party dungeons with limited entries and again a seemingly 0.01% drop chance. In every other version of the game, many classes were obtained from playing through the main story and the senshi were farmable. For some reason in the global version, they want you to spend real money to even have a chance at the items. Player counts are steadily in decline as everyone who wants a more f2p friendly environment are quickly realizing with every “update” that unless they drop hundreds of dollars a WEEK, they stand no chance of ever getting to experience even 1/5th of the game.

Another huge red flag is they want you to buy AP on a weekly basis for an “event” and the AP spent is going up. Used to be 4k, now it’s 6k ($250 USD) ~A WEEK~

Game is just generally not that fun, the same daily quests the same pattern daily/weekly with little to no content being added outside of the astral puzzle / cash shop.

0/10 recommendation until there are major changes. Until then this can only be classified as a blatant cash grab with no intention of bringing it up to par with literally the same version of the game in other regions.

Relançaram o Twin Saga, é exatamente o mesmo jogo... pra quem gosta vai firme, só aviso, MUUUUUUUUITO P2W envolvido, digo em tudo, tanto no pve qto no pvp, devido aos pets. Enfim, quem jogou conhece...

I wanted to like this game.

I have fond memories of Twin Saga and was genuinely excited when I heard that it was coming back as Astral Tale. But that excitement quickly withered with each passing week, and it became more and more difficult to turn a blind eye to the apparent greed and laziness of the team behind this game. And unlike many reviews, I’m not going to list pros, because if you, the reader, can make it through all of the things that make this game horrible and still want to play, then what I say is likely irrelevant to your decision making process.

This game is egregiously pay-to-win. Every outfit and costume has fixed main stats and randomly rolled substats, with the higher rarity meaning better stats. A blue rarity weapon costume (which is the most commonly available to free-to-play players) grants EXP+1% as a fixed stat, and up to 7.5% increased crit damage on a max roll. The next step up is an orange weapon costume, which offers Crit Damage +5% as a base stat, and up to Crit Damage +10% as a possible sub stat. Orange rarity costumes are difficult to earn in game. They did just introduce a system that lets you earn a few, albeit with significant time investment, so if you just want the stats and don’t care about the appearance, there is a F2P option (there wasn’t at launch). The next step up is yellow rarity, which can give a total of 20.5% Crit Damage at max roll. And that’s just the weapon slot. There are six main cosmetic slots. You can imagine the sheer amount of stats that would be gained by filling out each slot with top tier cosmetics. But you can’t just buy the yellow rarity (or higher) cosmetics, oh no, that’d be too easy! You have to go through a more… sinister system - a system called the “Astral Puzzle.” (I will note that there are a few yellow rarity cosmetics available as Guild Boss rewards, but good luck ever getting one that way).

Basically, you spend real money to buy “Astral Crystals.” You spend 1 crystal to gain a randomly selected item from the first tier. If you don’t like the item you rolled, you can choose to advance to the next tier up and roll again. This continues until you advance to the final tier, at which point you must accept whatever you acquired. The catch is that on each of the tiers, there is an item called an “Astral Shard,” and if you roll that item, you must accept that as your item and cannot progress to the next tier. Every five Astral Shards you collect earns you 1 “free” roll on the puzzle, starting from the third tier. The rates on rolling the items that actually matter are abysmal, but the higher rarity costumes offer such dramatically better stats that those items are what dominate the economy. The Astral Puzzle is also the only place to get almost all of the Senshi contracts (Senshi are basically summons that grant bonus stats and assist in battle). There are also what I think are called “Starfeathers,” which I think are basically pets, that just straight up add massive stats when summoned (“Oathtaker Starfeather Zorro” grants ATK+12% and Movement Speed +5%). Oh, and then there are infinite use consumables you can only get by spending a certain amount of currency during a designated campaign time. FOMO, anyone?

There is plenty more that I could harp on as far as what makes this game so aggressively pay-to-win, but just the above is likely enough for most people. Instead, I’d like to touch on a few more structural issues that really diminish the overall experience of the game itself. For one, the translations are laughably bad. From garbled grammar to straight up broken text, this game has no consistency in the way things are displayed. The way a stat increase is written changes based on the value (because that makes sense). For example, if a blue rarity outfit gives +3% crit dmg, it is displayed as “CRIT DMG +3%.” If it is a 6% increase, it is displayed as “CRIT damage increased by 6%.” A certain quest references a “horned arachnid,” which is actually a beetle. Another quest references the same entity as a “Silver Fleatle,” a “Ruby Arachnid,” and a “Ruby Fleatle.” The description calls it a spider in one sentence, and a beetle in the next (spoiler, it’s a beetle). Some of the dialogue and text genuinely make no sense, as if all the text was run through a sub-par translator, which really makes it feel like a matter of laziness more than anything else.

Moving on, anyone like Captchas? Anyone think they’re fun? Anyone? Well, if not, too bad. In order to combat botting, within minutes of first logging on and starting to play the game, you will have a big ol’ Captcha pop up on your screen. You have two attempts to correctly input a sequence of 4 letters or numbers. If you’re correct, you get exp+10% for 10 minutes. If you’re wrong, I’m guessing it forcibly logs you out of the game (I haven’t personally failed one, I probably should - for “science”). After completing one, you’re free for an indeterminate amount of time before you get to do it again. Woo.

Now, I’d like to touch on the completely ridiculous structure for purchasing premium currency, account management, and the like. Unlike just about any other game, you cannot simply load into the game, navigate to the shop, and purchase premium currency through steam. When I tried, I was given the error message “(-10901) You are ineligible for purchase. Please contact customer service for assistance.” So I loaded up the company’s webpage, made an account, and found out that you had to actually apply for the ability to purchase currency through steam (fun fact - I never got approved). So, being the little fledgling whale that I was, I decided to go through their website directly and buy that way. Annoying, but it worked… until it didn’t. They pushed an update that, so far as I can tell, forced everyone to adopt using a one-time password when logging into their site. I didn’t set that up, and suddenly I couldn’t log into my account on their site anymore. I contacted customer service to figure out what was wrong, and they said they needed to rebind the email I used for the account. Simple enough, right? They asked the browser that I was using, the email I used to bind the account originally, and… my IP address. I’m fairly certain that information is not required for unbinding and rebinding an email address to an account, but I provided them with the information against my better judgment. It would sometimes be days before they responded to move things forward, and after I gave them my IP address, they went silent for about 3 days. At that point, I sent them another message that essentially said “Hey, I want to spend money on the game. What’s the hold up?” They messaged me back a few hours later that they had fixed the issue. Which broke again in the same way the next day after (turns out my ad blocker was blocking a pop up from the site and that’s what was breaking their system, one of my guild mates gave me the solution that their support staff couldn’t).

What else? The pvp is an absolute mess. Unless you’re the biggest spender out there, you’re going to get utterly destroyed in seconds by people with bigger wallets. There is little to no skill involved, just money and stats. The drop rates are atrocious in any of the dungeons beyond the level 38 dungeon “Bluemoon Sanctuary,” even with full loot drop rate starstones and premium items. The overall gameplay loop is repetitive, where you basically just run the same dungeons in party and solo mode as much as you can stomach for a small chance at getting something actually worthwhile, and complete the daily quests associated with each zone (if they are even added into the game. There have been at least two zones since launch that didn’t have their daily quests available because the devs just didn’t enable them).

I wanted to like this game, but I can’t. Not like this.
