Boost key rebinding
I know boost settings are server-specific, but I thought I'd ask here anyway (I'm playing on Jman's server with Boost 2.2).

I swapped my Hookshot and Interact keys because I'm used to F being used to enter and exit cars in GTA. The Boost button on this server defaults to F. In the Boost settings, I check the box that says "bind boost to hookshot key", which works, but the car will still boost when I press F, causing the vehicle to boost away after I've exited. Not a big deal, unless I need to get back in, or am next to a cliff. Is there a configuration setting I can adjust, or is this a server-side bug?

Also, I noticed this mod crashes a lot. Is it related to overdoing the boost, or boosting into areas I shouldn't, or is it just unstable right now, being in Beta and all?

This is a bug with my client script. I'll fix it when I have time to get to it in the next day or so. For now, I suggest typing /setboost and setting it to a key you won't press (or one you will and just not use the hookshot checkbox). Hope this helps, and thanks for pointing this out.

As for crashes, well, the base game wasn't designed to handle such elaborate modification, and as a result of number of players and other variables it does tend to crash. You can reduce the chances by making sure you're not running fraps, dxtory, or any other program that adds an overlay or info on top of the game. You can also try disabling the steam overlay.

Alright, thanks bruv.

Now while you're here, may I ask why DLC vehicles and weapons can't at least do damage to donors? I can understand for people who have neither donorship nor the DLC, but it would certainly help give me equal footing against donor weapons if I could use my DLC against them.

DLC weapons affect people that also have that DLC. Whether you're a donor or not, having donor doesn't give any preferential treatment or unfair advantages.

Ehh I donno, man... Last night there was a donor guy flying around in a boost parachute spamming rockets and lasers at everyone, and I couldn't for the life of me shoot him down. Maybe I just need to git gud with the sniper rifle.

Haha, yeah I can promise you donors have no special health perks or benefits that standard players don't, they only get chat colors and special visual accessories and parachutes and other similar things.
