He's one Enlarge away from being a Giant Frog, tho.
Transformation is your best bet here, although exploding into a wight mage isn't a terrible fate either. If this is SP, i'd research Alt9, get him up to S9, and wish for physical power a few times, to make the greatest and most terrifying frog in all the lands.
It's not currently moddable, but an event to reset the form of the frog if they kiss a maiden would be cool.
That sounds amazingly powerful against combat pretenders.
On an other note, does the Curse of the Frog Prince remove magical paths as well, or just changes the physical stats to a frog?
Tracking forms shouldn't be too hard, but it would require the devs as that's not something the game currently does. So it's not moddable (although the generic 'turn into handsome prince' thing sounds hilarious).
I was about to say 'sounds like a bug, should be reported', but then I remembered that you can't use #transform with troops anyway....
Pretender Frog: 'Oh god, oh god, it's okay, I can still do this. Minions! Prepare yourselves, it's all on you now-'
Prince Dave: 'Why am I seated on this giant magical throne made of spikes and why are people praying to me'
Dark Lord of the Millpond
Devourer of Horseflies
The Insectiphage
Master of the Sticky Tongue
He Who Croaked But Did Not Die
Incinerator of Impious Herons
The Lurker in Pond Sludge
Spawner of Light/Spawner of Darkness
The Toadally Terrific
...and so on.
It begs the question though... Curse of the frog prince OP?
A few more questions by the way; Does it change any traits a commander had (Mound king's undead trait removed for example)?
Does leadership get removed as well?
A Mound King is lifeless and undead, so they definitely couldn't transform. Either one of those is enough to prevent "polymorph" effects.
Having said that, any characteristics and stats would change, yes, since they're all tied to unit id. The only things you'd retain are magic, experience, age, name, wounds, curses, and horrormarks.
