I played a solo game with the Great Enchantress, who gerenates an astral pearl every turn. I won, too. That was some years ago, playing DOM3.
The Enchantress can learn new magic paths cheap, which makes her a good rainbow.
Yup. For every 5 temples you own, your dominion strength increases by 1.
I do too. From my understanding, it's probably more important in multiplayer. In single player, you can probably manage your dominion easier, and use temples to summplement.
If your starting dominion value is high enough, your Pretender gets the Awe stat, which can be really, really useful if you're making a powerful fighting-based god.
